Marketing of petroleum

Tengri Oil sells crude oil, natural gas, and petroleum products on both domestic and international markets, ensuring that flows are allocated optimally to satisfy market demand. The Company owns crude oil and petroleum product transshipment facilities, as well as pipelines, which helps to reduce transportation costs. For selling petroleum products on both domestic and international markets, Tengri Oil has a well-developed marketing strategy and infrastructure. Tengri Oil increased its petroleum product export sales to 2.3 million tons in 2021. In 2022, the Company was able to successfully boost the market value of this product by making separate deliveries of high-quality fuel oil produced at the refinery to Russian Sea ports.

Crude Oil Exports

The corporation monitors the economic efficiency of oil monetization channels, which allows it to maximize the share of high-margin channels in the overall sales structure. In 2021, the Company would supply about 1.2 million tons of oil to its own Kazakhstan operations, a 15% increase over 2022. (taking into account the deliveries to refineries since October 2022). The rise in supply quantities was largely due to the acquisition in 2021. In 2022, the Company supplied 1.1 million tons of its own oil to plants with a participation portion of the Company, up 3% from 2023.

Oil shipments to nearby and far-flung countries are expected to reach 2.8 million tons in the end  of 2023. Among the oil export channels, the eastern road is the most economically advantageous for the Company – supply via the pipeline to China, sales in the ports of Kozmino and De Kastri. Supplies to the East totaled 7.7 million tons in 2021, up 10.7% from the previous year’s same period. Furthermore, the company sold 5.7 million tons of oil to countries in North, Central, and Eastern Europe, the Mediterranean, and other far-flung areas. The Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) received 8 million tons of exports.

Gas Sales

In order to improve the efficiency of gas monetization, the Company has created a method for optimizing commodity-transport flows used in the formulation of the operational gas balance. In terms of gas sales, Kazakhstan is the major business of Tengri Oil, with the company satisfying over 90% of the region’s demand by selling products to both industrial and social customers. Tengri Oil development goal is to make the company the largest independent gas supplier in the Kazakhstan. market inside the country to that end, the company has grown significantly in recent years and continues to expand its supply area, which now encompasses the entire Shymkent. Simultaneously, the Company continues to optimize its gas supply contract portfolio in order to increase gas sales efficiency and lower the risks associated with launching new production projects.

Aviation fuel supply

Since 2022, the company has been selling aviation fuel and providing a full range of services for the supply of aviation fuel and aircraft refueling coordination at airports across Kazakhstan and the CIS. After more than two years on the market, Tengri Oil has established itself as a significant operator with strong financial and operational performance thanks to the implementation of good business processes and the provision of high-quality services. Today, it is a massive enterprise with a professional team of over 500 employees that runs 24 hours a day, performing over 110 thousand refueling operations per year and providing services to over ten airlines. The company has sold over 6 million tons of aviation fuel since its founding in 2021.
